As I responded in the tw.o forum, Tiki's random image module might work, if you simply want random thumbnails. With this module you can specify the gallery. The module plugin would be used to put the module in the wiki page.
What logic or selection criteria or whatever is needed for the images?
I don't know of anything existing that will display a random full-size image in Tiki, but it seems like it wouldn't be too hard to modify the random thumbnail code to do that.
