    Hi!

    We handle Tiki bug reports on http://dev.tikiwiki.org

    However, we seldom get theme bug reports there. And if we did, I am not sure how they would be handled.

    We could:

    1. Use the dev.tw.o tracker.
    2. Setup another tracker here.
    3. Use forums (with file attachments).
    4. Here is a test of a bug reporting system via an image gallery.


    Some bug reports will be via video, to show dynamic menu problems for example, so we could open up a file gallery.

    We want people to indicate the theme name, the Tiki version and the browser/OS. What else?

    If we could comment individual images, people could comment on ideas/solutions. If we had an image rating system, people could vote on gravity of bug.

    Images can be added individually to the category system. Maybe this could come in handy too… Ex.: add the image to affected themes. Then, we could list bugs per theme.

    I expected forums to be used for feedback, questions, etc., but maybe something more structured would be good. Following the dev.tw.o pattern, it would probably be good to use Trackers. To keep themes stuff in one place, we could set up a Tracker here for theme bugs. I sometimes lose track of specific problems with themes, so this would probably help me, for one.

    A problem is that images seem to still be a problem in Trackers, or at least that's been my experience. So maybe Trackers plus an image gallery for visuals would be good. The forums are still there for related discussions.

    There were issues but Sylvie fixed them. (in 1.9.5 CVS)

    Great. Now the tracker looks very good for bug reports. I wonder, though, if we should have more fields, such as "Theme" (or will Description cover that)? The problem is that some reports don't indicate what theme has the bug and it isn't obvious from the screenshot.

    Sure!

    We can have some single choice fields or multi-choice (via categories). Ex.: browsers, tiki versions, themes, etc

    Just add what you think we need. We can easily add/change as we go.
