Kubrick v2(1.10) another usage issue

Just found another strange behaviour with the new Kubrick in RC4 using FF2 - so thought I would post this as well. Screen shot attached shows that the right hand column occasionally overflows the div.

I've set up the columns so all modules are in the right-hand column and the left hand column is never shown (mimics the original/old TW Kubrick). This overflow bahaviour is not consistent and I can't work out how to to make it do it - but if you toggle between a reduced window and full-screen window using the browser top-right buttons then it corrects with the content divs enlarging correctly surrounding all the content.

Any thoughts appreciated

Thanks

Hi,

The Kubrick files in the gallery here are a little old. The core code in Tiki 2.0 has been changing quite a bit, and I've been trying to keep these theme files up to date in the Subversion repository, but I haven't made new zips for the gallery. Please try kubrick.tag.gz and see if the problems continue.

That 1px offset at the sides of the footer is still there, I know, but, as you can see at http://zukakakina.com/Kubrick, the problem around the bottom of the header area is either solved or maybe due to a difference in site configuration. I didn't notice the kind of overflow your screenshot shows, but will try to replicate the bug. I try to check all combinations of site options and so on but am bound to miss something. Thanks for your reports.

Hi - there still seems to be a few problems here.

I've tried the kubrick.tar.gz you posted in my RC4 test setup and just so you know this has 'included' the credit.tpl in both the tiki-bot_bar.tpl and the tiki.tpl so it gets shown twice.

Apart from this, the bottom 1px 'step' still shows in FF2 and in IE6 there is still the vertical white line to the right - see the screenshot. The zukakakina instance in IE6 does some other odd things at the bottom but this may be due to the enlarged babelfish insert in the footer?? I could screenshot this as well if it would be useful.

I know this is painstaking work to get right so would really like to help with testing any further amendments - as I definitely have a vested interest in getting Kubrick as slick as possible in R2.0 biggrin

Let me know offline or thru these posts if there is anything I can do

Thanks

The weirdness at the bottom of the Zukakakina page is due to the Babelfish logos, which I activated while using another theme, and I'd forgotten that they don't fit in the Kubrick footer.

I'll have to take another look at what causes the footer to be slightly wider than the middle section of the page. Hopefully this can be sorted out fairly quickly.
